Hello all,

My original disks are wearing out and I am ordering generic new ones. They are 640mb.

Will they need to be formatted before use? I didn't see a command to do that and I have dadmin level access. All I saw was "format disk" but no other options.

Thanks

Optical disks do not wear out like tapes.

The MO disks you order must already have Avaya proprietary format
with the same configuration and load as your g3r.

Thanks for the reply.

I have two of the MO disks that are returning errors when in place. When I "test rem 1a (or 1b) long" I consistently get a fail on test 811. This fail follows the disk whichever drive it is in.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
