formatting forms

Why, even if the margins are set to min and the text as far to the right as possible, do i get the the warning "the text is too wide for the page some pages may be left blank"
There seems to be about a 1/4 of the page blank and still have to put it to landscape

any ideas?

Make sure that in the report designer the right hand side of the white area (where you place the controls) is not past the edges of your margin. IE: if you have a half inch margin on each side of a 8 1/2" piece of paper you should only see white out to 7 1/2" in the report designer or you will get the error you're talking about.
