Hi All,

I have a problem with equations in word 2002, whenever I insert an equation (Equation 3.0) the spacing between the lines changes in the document in some of the lines that contain the equaions. The other lines that are ok have exactly the same formatting in both paragraph and equation style.

The reason for this is that the equations are within inline shapes and are just like big characters as far as Word is ocncerned - and big characters require big lines. You could try reducing the font size of the 'character' that holds the equation but, for most equations, the content then becomes too small to read.

Enjoy,
Tony
