I have a table that has dates presented MM/DD/YYYY. I want to format the dates into MM/YYYY. I have tried copying and formatting in excel with no success. Every import still gives me the full date. Any help would be appreciated.

What would the format query look like? Like this:
Format("Field", MM/YYYY)??
The format off of the design table does not have a month and year data type.

I think you would be better of doing this formating in a Query. There, the Format([Field],"MM/YYYY") would give you what you need and then you can use the query for whatever other requirement you have for the data. If you have to have the info in the table like this, you will need to change the data type to Text and run a update query that adjusts the format to MM/YYYY
