I would like to know how to format data in a combo box. It doesn't keep the format it has in the table for some reason. For instance, I have a combo box looking up phone numbers and the dashes are now all gone. I tried to set the format and the imput mask in the query and the form, neither did the trick. Please advise. I have Access 2003.

Thanks,

Dawn

I created a little table to store an ID and phone number. I set the input mask of the phone number to save characters (first option). I then created a form with a combobox to show phone number. The characters were there. I'm using Access 2003. Did you request to store the characters during the input mask wizard?

I checked the input mask and changed it to save the characters, but they were still not in the combo box. I then deleted the combo box and did another one and that didn't work either. Any other ideas of what I may have done differently?

Thanks!!

Dawn
