Our National Sales Manager is wanting us to standardize our report formats by making sure that each sales territory is represented by the same color in a chart on each report (i.e. Mountain is always blue, Pacific is always orange, etc.). Can anyone drop me a clue as to how I could accomplish this?

Thanks,
JC

Hi JC,
Right click on your chart, choose Chart Expert, go to the Options tab and click on the Format button in the Chart color frame. The Chart Color Format Expert will open, click on New, select the Value of:, is equal to, then the territory. Go to the Format Color box and select the color you want to use for that territory. Continue doing this until you've set a color for each territory. You can then save it as a user defined template and will be able to use these settings for subsequent charts.
