Hi,

If I have a bunch of columns with one column containing persons names, with an occasional persons name too long, how do I make it so that it does not get cut off

AND

Prevent it from pushing the adjacent columns and screwing their alignment too.
What is the best way to solve this issue? (maybe have a big name go to the second line of the same column?)

Thanks
Jk

You could either format the field to "can grow" which would cause it to wrap, or you could conditionally change the font size depending upon the number of characters in the field, e.g.,

if len({table.field}) > 20 then 6 else
10

...but still there would be no guarantee that it wouldn't get cut off, unless you also applied the "can grow".

If i were to use "can grow" -- does it grow horizontally or grow to the line below it?

Thanks

I did --- it goes below -- good enough for me!!

Thanks
