I Need To Simply Print Out The Current Date
in The Format MM/DD/YY

Could You Show Me In Both Ksh and Csh, So I Can Try Both

I believe this works for both shells:

date +'%m/%d/%y'

Chris

 

[dchoulette]

date +"%m/%d/%y"

But just try

man date

to find all possible output of the

date

command.
