Formating

after i right click on an object(text), and set the x, y, width, height and hit OK(in the object size and positon), and when i go back to it i see the same old values, it isn't changing. can anyone please help.

You'll find that you're well served to select File->Options->Layout and change the Grid Options Grid Size to .011 (smallest available) and turn off the snap to grid, and turn on the Free Form Placement to allow for the best granularity of adjustment of objects.

Hey, SV - can the Grid Size be set in the Registry?

micgp: Not that I'm aware of, but it could be.

There is a GRIDSIZE in the Reportview section, however I don't know the values to set or if it would work correctly with that alone.

Also someone had postd here recently that they used .010, Crystal doesn't save that setting, the lowest is .011.
