I'm using SQL Server Reporting Services 2005 and can't seem to figure out how to make one portion of the text bold while leaving the rest of the text normal. I searched in this forum and found similar requests without an answer (see thread1462-1417476 ). In the report, the user has a paragraph of text display with a date at the very end of the paragraph. I can successfully concatonate the date value, but the user wants the date to be bold, while the rest of the text remains normal. I tried using format, but doesn't have text display values--only data type values (like integer, currency, etc.). Anyone had success in text formating a selected part of text within a text box?

short answer. You can't

You need to use a seperate text box if you want different formatting

Rgds, Geoff

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colours but they all live in the same box.
