When I compose emails there are paragraph symbols after every paragraph and there are little dots in the spaces between every word. I use and always have used Microsoft Word 2003 to edit my emails; however, this formatting issue is not happening in regular Microsoft word documents - only in outlook emails.

I don't believe I changed any settings before this formatting issue began. The only thing out of the ordinary that I was doing around the same time was editing some stuff in Microsoft Front Page. Perhaps this is somehow related?

Please help!

are you using Word as your editor? sounds like you have turned on the show elements; you know that little symbol in the toolbar that looks like a PP sign.

Hi, this option is turned off and on with your Hide/Show toolbar button. When it's toggled on, nonprinting characters show for proofing purposes. They are paragraph marks, spaces, tabs etc. Make sure your Standard toolbar is turned on in an email. The Hide/Show button looks like a backwards, black P, sort of. Just click it to turn the marks off.
