Hi all

I have created a cross tab report which have the following:

Column = Category
Row = Currency
Summarized field 1 = Local Amount
Summarized field 2 = Foreign Amount

The information is correct, but I would like to change the format. Currently the 2 summarised fields are being displayed on the report in a verticle format for each column. Is is possible to display these fields in a horizontal format with a title for each.

NB Current Format:

Category 1 Category 2
Currency1 Foreign amount Foreign amount
Local amount Local amount

Currency2 Foreign amount Foreign
Local amount Local amount

Total Total Foreign Total Foreign
Total Local Total Local

----------------------------------------------
Category 1 Category 2

Currency1 Foreign amt Local amt Foreign amt Local amt

Currency2 Foreign amt Local amt Foreign amt Local amt

Total TotForeign Tot Local Tot Foreign Total Local

Thank you.

Not using Cross-tabs. The layout is fixed.
If you can do a bit more work, and can live with a fixed number of columns, you can use a manually built cross-tab. These are described in my FAQ on common formulas. Ken Hamady

Hi
I have been looking at your issue and you maybe can do this using a pivot craoss tab.

This can be done by right mouse clicking on the cross tab report and then selecting pivot crosstab.

This incujunction with doing a custom layout may work. I would first try the cross tab you all ready have.
