I think that is what the subject is, but here goes the problem.

I need to insert specific text befor the [control text] which would be

"Specific Text "&[control text]

But I want the "specific text" to be bold and the rest regular. I know that if I was formatting a date I would put

Format([date],"mmm-yy") and everything would work just fine.

But what do I use to make it bold, then back to regular. ::) Deb Koplen

You can't.

Just create 2 separate text boxes.
The first one will have Specific Text and bold it and the second will have the control text.

Agreed - or rather a label and a text box. ::) "Outside of a dog, a book is probably man's best friend; and inside a dog, it's too dark to read" - G. Marx
