Text in table is in UPPER case, I want to format text on a report to show as PROPER case.

Hi

try this Create a field on your report and in the Data Tab control source property type =Propper([yourfieldnamehere])

That should solve it.

Hope it works

Hi,

I tried that PROPER AND PROPPER and all I got was a box to enter a parameter.

Its strange because PROPER is mentioned in Access help but it just doesn't seem to know what it is.

Any more help would be appreciated.

Regards.

Hi

Chris Again sorry typo error above should be =Proper([yourfieldname])

Cheers

I can send you a sample database with a working example of this if you want?

Using Proper should not be difficult unless there's a error in the access instalation?

Hi,

That would be great.

Even when I use the expression builder PROPER isn't listed anywhere.

It wont have anything to do with the object library I'm using will it?

I'm currently using Microsoft DAO 3.6 Object Library.
