I have a report formatted to look like a Word Table (ie rows and columns) using the line and rectangle objects to create the borders etc.
however I need to set one of my fields to have the property Can Grow as the size varies. If I do this then it overlaps the bottom line of the border. Is there any way round this problem?

Instead of using the rectangle to create a box, you can make it up from Horizontal and Vertical lines. The Horizontal lines will float up or down as needed to accomodate the height of the Detail section of your report.

The Vertical lines are a different problem. Take a look at the Microsoft Knowledge Base. There are a few articles on how the height of Vertical lines can grow as a section grows. One of the articles is 197595. I noticed there are a couple of others too, but I didn't check them.

Hope this helps.

Found the article you refer to and it works brilliantly. Thanks a lot - your reply was just in time for me to meet my deadline for this report!!
