Anybody ever do this on a small business server with the raid for 3 scsi harddrives?

any advice?

What exactly do you want to do - if its just to completely clean the drives either the raid controller at boot and initalize the drives, loading the s/w back on is just a matter of reinstalling, but you will need the raid driver diskettes etc.

I need to basically format the harddrives and reinstall the software back on.

will this also wipe out the raid configuration? I've got all necessary installation disks - heck the servers only a couple months old.

Just seeing if there is any advice for doing this.

Do you have the OpenManage CD that came with the server? (I am guessing that yours should have come with it, although I could be wrong, as ours are PE4400 and not SBS's)

If you do, just put the cd in the drive and boot to it, it'll do the rest...
