I have numeric parameters for Year and Account. In the parameter dialog box, I would like them to display as 2007 (not 2,007) and 123456 (not 123,456).

Is this possible and if so, how?

Thanks in advance,
Dennis

I believe if you change the default number setup in the report options it will alter this, but then it does so for all numbers.

Another option is to use string parameters and use format strings to require numeric characters. Use VAL() to convert the parameter back to a number.

Warning - if the these parameters are a key part of your filter (criteria) this could cause the report's query to run much more slowly.

Synapse - thanks for your reply. I'll give it a try.

Ken - thanks to you, as well. I have purchased material from you in the past and found it excellent. I visit your site from time to time and find I always learn something new.
