Format of LDAP query of Active Directory??

hey guys,

I found a bunch of tutorials on ldap querying and everything, but I'm new to ldap and am getting my domain and filter from Microsoft Sharepoint. Here is my info, how would I format the syntax, etc?

domain name: Gestalt-LLC
search base: DC=int,DC=gestalt-llc,DC=com
filter: (&(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=user))

I'm sure you will need more info, I'm just unsure what to include.
