Hey guys

We are scrapping one of our old Digital Alpha server 4100's that used to house our financial records. We want to format or do some sort of low level writting to the disk to remove all data from the system.

Can anyone help me out with some steps to do this?

if disk array - usr bind/undind disks.

if internal disk - use diskconfig to re-format

another way:
You may overwrite the disk by zeero command.
man zeero for details.
