Is there any way to make a form, so when it is opened by specific users, they are not able to go into design mode of that form??

I believe this functionality is implemented through Access Security. I think running the security wizard will enable you to create different users, with different access privalidges. James Goodman

Unfortunately I do not have access to this facility on my version of Access (2000 Prof.). Is there any way to code it so, only certain users are able to change the design of forms??

The security features of Access are always available as far as I know. Have you tried looking in Tools-Security?

You will also need to edit the workgroup file to set this correctly. This could be disabling the security wizard feature. James Goodman

It is always available yes, but when Access was installed on my PC @ work, those features were not put on, and the version of Access we have does not allow this feature to be installed. Is there any way of coding this??
