I am trying to save a report in Excel & I know you can "format columns" in Reportsmith as numbers.. but when I save as Excel even if I click on "retain formatting" it formats the number columns as General. so that I have to reformat each column as a number (0.00) & hit F2 on each cell to change them into a number so that they will be recognized in formulas.

Is there any way around this? I know nothing about macros & they seem a bit complicated for such a simple problem.

Sorry, no help here.

You may want to save as a .csv just because it is faster to save. It has the same formatting issue.
