Hello
working with access 2000 under XP pro.
have a form bound to a query, records displayed in continuous view. What I'm trying to do is to highlight certain bound controls and change the background colour based on information within that record. What happens is that if I change one field - all the others change as well - presumably because the control is on the detail part of the form. I've also tried to do this with an unbound control (again on the detail) but when I change one - all change.
so, questions ...
1) Is it possible to apply different formatting to a control (bound or unbound) held in the detail section?
If it isn't then I did consider using an unbound form (this is just for viewing info) and dynamically adding the required number of controls for the underlying records to the header section. more questions
2) Can you dynamically add controls to a form in Access - if so - how?
All suggestions gratefully received.
I normally use VB as a front end for access but this has to be JUST access which is why it's causing so many problems.
thanks
