I have set up a report in access 2000 with multiple fields listing values for each record. For example the columns are days of the week and the rows are sales people, the values are then the amount of sales that they made each day. I would like to bold the highest value for each day. Hopefully this makes sense, I look forward to the responses

I can think of a couple methods, but they're not the most practical:
1) If the report is based on a "totals" query, you can use the Max function and compare it with each record in the Detail Format event. If not, you could build a small query for that and use a recordset object with it to compare.

2) In the report's Open event, use a recordset object to go through the values and find the highest value, which will then be stored in a global variable within the report. In the Detail Format event, compare the value to the stored value and bold it if it matches.
