Does anyone know of a 'good'free utility for formatting the hard drive. There are several out on the web, but if someone knows of a good bootable one, it would be greatly appreciated!

Why not just use a Windows boot disk?

Boot into DOS, load FDISK, kill the partitions and recreate then format.

Or you can boot off the Windows NT CD-Rom (or use the three floppy disks), as the NT Installer comes with an inbuilt partition manager. [auto] MCSE NT4/W2K
