I am creating an Employee Phone Listing that I want to print with multiple "columns" of data so that it works down the left side and then wraps to the next column like a newspaper. We are a small enough organization that we will all fit on one page.

I have my Page Layout set to Landscape and in the Section Expert for the Detail section I checked "Format with Multiple Columns" and on the Layout tab I set the width to 5" with a 0.25" gap. I also checked off "Down then Across" for the Printing Direction setting.

This works very well for my purposes except for a couple of items:

1.) The Field Labels do not show up for the second "column" of data. I used copy and paste to get them into the second "column." Is there a setting that controls this?

2.) In the Group Expert I checked off both "Keep Group Together" and "Repeat Group Header on Each Page," but a group breaks across the column and the header is not repeated. I tried toggling the "Keep Together" check box in the Section Expert Group Header 1 settings but it had no impact either on or off. I got around it by gradually increasing the height of the Group Header until the group that was split slipped to the second column. Is there another setting that controls this behavior?
