Format Envelopes won't pull from Address Book anymore

We had a problem, exported address book to csv file, unistalled WP9,reinstalled SP4, imported from .TXT file, all addresses are there, but when we try to pull the address to the envelope, when we click on an address book entry, it just sets us to editing the entry, it doesn't pull it onto the envelope formatting page. Any ideas how to fix ?
