Format 'Empty Report' color for entire project?

Is there a way to have the default report template for an Empty Report formatted to Squares rather than Red and Black, at the project level, not the user level?

set your desktop preferences to display hidden objects.

then under the Object Templates\Reports folder you should see a report called "Blank Report". Edit this report and switch the autostyle to Squares. Save.

Now all new reports will show up as squares.

BTW, you can add additional report templates here, which will show up for users to pick from...
