Format date in a text box

I would like to display a date in a text box on a report as
for example, February 21, 2008

In an earlier thread, Duane and Remou responded. One suggestion was:

Format: mmmm d, yyyy
Duane MS Access MVP

If I place that in the format window, it displays today's date, not the date I am expecting.

How do I get my text box to display the formatting I would like?

OK... that did work. Sorry.
I guess I wasn't saving the report before I tested it.
