I am making a crosstab report with two different numbers in each cell. I want to change the formatting in two ways. First, I want one number to be blue and the other red. Second, I want a slash between them. So a cell might contain this:

100/
200

I was happy to see that it automatically put a carriage return between the two numbers.

How did you create the two numbers? Are you using a formula? Please share, if so. Do you literally mean there are two numbers per cell, or did you insert two different summaries per one row field? Also, what are your row and column fields?

The report displays two things. It shows how many reports that inspectors claimed that they wrote each year. Also, it shows how many reports the home office received from each inspector in each given year. The column axis is "year" and the row axis is "inspector". In each cell, two numbers appear. I want to use two colors to differentiate them.

If you put the report in design view, your CAN select the cell value with the mouse. It has properties for the text like font, bold, etc. But it does NOT have color. So I want to add that property with vb. Ideally, I would also like a slash to appear after the first number. So a given cell might contain~

100/
120
