Format Align Values in Subreports to Main report Values

For simple aesthetics, how does one right-align displayed summary values "in the same column" when actually one of the summary values lies within a subreport? I have been just dragging the summary box in the subreport left or right and gotten it as close as possible by eye but it is still not aligned perfectly with the summary value above it which is in the main report.Is there a proper way to align subreport values to main report values?Thanks.

You could pass it back as a shared variable, meaning that it would be a main-report field and lined up suitably. (Use SEARCH if you need details about Shared Variables.)
