Form works only after being in design mode

Hi,

I have an access database that is linked to SQL Server that has been working for a while. It has just recently started to consistently fail with "no message for this error"; and the way to make it work again is to take the form into design mode (do nothing else) and then back into view mode. Then everything works fine.

Has anyone seen behaviour like this?

please post the code of the Form_open event, as your error could have something to do with timing.
