On SharePoint 2003 (& Windows 2003) on an Intranet, when attempting to upload an Access database to a SharePoint document library, I get the message
"Form Validation Error... The following file(s) have been bocked by the administrator: [my database]"

It's an in-house server, and the IT guy doesn't know what's preventing the uploading.
I created the database and haven't set any security on it. I tried changing my Internet Explorer security to low, and I tried with the database on my desktop rather than a network drive, without effect.
Thank you.

SOLUTION:
remove the Filetype from the "Blocked File Types".

You will find it under (when logged on as an admin, so maybe you need to ask the IT man):
Site Settings / SharePoint Portal Server Central Administration /
Blocked Filetypes.

Remove it, finished.
