Hi all,

I have created a form using fields from three tables.
when i try to edit the data or to add new data to the fields in the form to update the database, nothing happens.

When i create a form with one table it all works fine.

I'am not very experienced with Access.

Can tell me what is wrong?

Greetings,

Marco

Maybe you have a 'some to many' relationship there? For example, a foreign key in a table that relates to another table--but the other table does not have that field as unique. This is essentially an invalid relationship, since there is no direct connection from one table to the other. If your intention is a many-to-many relationship, then you need an intermediate table (is this your third table you mentioned?), but this table must relate to unique keys in the other 2 tables (if many-to-many is the intent)
