Hi
I have a couple of questions that sum up to one problem...

I have a form and a table. The form has 10 fields on it, I've been trying to get it to, once the first field is filled in, auto-fill in the other 9 based on the corresponding field data for the record (assuming that the first field will only relate to a single record) . Now once these 10 fields are shown, I want the user to be able to edit any one (or more than one) of the fields and click a submit button, thus having it enter the changes, or ADD the new record to the table.

I know its a beginner question and I figure it's got to be a query or Dlookup function, but I've tried both but not successfully. As for the SUBMIT button idea, I don't know how I should go about creating a macro to add data to a table.

Any ideas?
Mike

See the Access Help Topic, "Find a record by selecting a value from a list". Who takes 7 seconds to develop,
7 mins to document,
7 hours to test,
7 months to fix will always blame the clock. s-)
