I need to create a form that I can use for a QC process.

I would like to create a form that a user can Enter a Tracking number which populates a table with the FileNumbers tied to that TrackingNumber are populated on one side of the form and then the QC user can rescan the folders in the box, as the QC person is scanning (barcodes) the files, on the other side of the form the the FileNumbers that are being scanned are matched to the exiting records.

Another option would be to have the user Scan the barcode of the tracking number, scan the barcodes of the files in the box, then run a query to compare the file numbers against the file numbers for that tracking number.

Problem is I cannot find an example or any good reference material to figure out how to get started?

Does anyone know of any good information out there or has someone done something simular to this??

Thanks!!!!!!!!

Thanks

1. I'm not totally sure I'm following your steps, and your goal/purpose. Could you try rewording it (I realize this post is now kind of old)

2. What version of Access?

3. What have you done/found so far? Anything? In other words, do you have anything yet to build upon?
