I use my database on my laptop and pc. When I switch from one to the other the forms do not resize correctly. An example is one form opens in the lower right hand corner.
Does anyone have some tips on controlling how the forms open and where the forms open??? THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Look for
[tt]Docmd.MoveSize(), Docmd.Move(), Docmd.Maximize()[/tt]and "Auto Center" property in the help files.

I always use DoCmd.Maximise on the LOAD property of my forms, unless I want a pop up.

Personnally I like working in full screens :)

I think it is worth considering two different front ends: one for the laptop, one for the desktop. The is a lot of fiddling in resizing forms.

Thanks everyone! I will try it later this afternoon, and let you know how I make out. Thanks again!
