form restore? 1

I have two forms.
The first displays a set of search results and the second shows a line item from the search results screen in more detail.

I have a docmd.maximize set on the results screen form load, lostfocus and gotfocus properties.

When the results screen is first loaded the form maximizes, but when I return to the results screen from the second form, the screen is in a small window state, even though the got and lostfocus properties have the form.maximize command in them?

I cannot close and reopen the results screen because I would lose the serach critea set when first loading the results screen.

any ideas?

Hi

If u open ur 2nd form as popup over the 1st form...will this be ok??? I think it will solve ur problem.

Also you can put the DoCmd.Maximize in the form's On Activate event.

Then when ever you return the focus to this form it will maximize.
