i am a beginner at access and really need some help.
i am try to make a database that allows you to put in specific dates and then it creates a report for that period of time.
the form should have the following fields
beginning date_______
finish date__________
view report

as i am an ameture i would be gratfull if you could give a step by step guide on doing this
i will be etternally grateful

the tables in the database are:
Employee

employeeid
name
surname
address

lecure

lectureid
module
course

Timming

Start time
finishtime
Date

i want to be able to see a report showing the empoyee and the lecture they are at for the dates that i type in

1. Have you ever created a parameter query?
2. Have you ever created a report based on a query?
2. Can a course last more than 1 day?

Without having more details and assuming the lectures last one day only, I would suggest eliminating the timming table and adding the date, start time and finish time to the lecture table.

Lecture1
Course: Beginning Access
Date: 4/13/01
Start Time: 8:00 AM
Finish Time: 5:00 PM

Lecture2
Course: Beginning Access
Date: 4/20/01
Start Time: 7:00 AM
Finish Time: 4:00 PM

Then I would create an Enrollment table that would contain the employee id and the number of the lecture he is taking.

If you've worked with parameter queries, you shouldn't have much trouble converting to query that gets it's criteria from a form.
