Hi

I have a print button on a form which prints the form (with the code DoCmd.PrintOut)

However only 80% of the width the form info prints on the same page, the remaining 20% prints on another page.

I need it all to be printed on same page.

I have changed the Print Set up of the form to HORIZONTAL, as well as changing the margins, etc etc but this has no effect on the printed page, still prints on two pages...

I know I can create a report based on the form HOWEVER I am trying to avoid doing this if possible

thanks for your help

Creating a report is quicker than posting a question to a forum. You can copy and paste controls from a form onto a new, blank report. You can then set the Record Source and other properties. There might even be a "Save as Report" available from a form.

Consider doing it right the first time.

Thanks for your comments BUT, as I mention on my last sentence, I am trying to avoid having to create a report for this.

The reason is that my database is huge at the moment, and I am trying not to make it bigger. Adding a new report will only increase its size.

Hence my request.

Did your changes to the form print layout stick? Did you do the changes in design view and then save the form?
