I have a form and subform in an Access 2000 db. The subform is embedded in the middle of the screen, so users generally complete the header on the main form, then enter the subform to add detail lines, and finally re-enter the main form to enter footer information. From time to time, when a user re-enters the bottom of the main form, the form controls lock. This happens completely randomly, but no one has ever reported receiving an error message (like 2 users trying to write to the same record at the same time). The form Record Locks property is set to Edited Record. Does anyone know what may cause this?
