I am doing the following in Excel. By any chance could this be done in Access 2003?

In excel, i have 8 cells across and 7 rows down.
so there are 56 cells involved.

If this were access, I suppose the input form would be just one field with some field to link the 56. Like a project number that associates all 56 records.

But i cannot think of a way to Access print 8 columns across and 7 rows down in a landscape view.

Any thoughts to point me in the right direction?
thanks you.

Maybe a better description. In my excel .... i am trying to mimick a customers shelf. He has 56 of our products in 56 spots on the shelf ... organized with 8 across and 7 shelves down.

I enter the product code in each of my excel cells.

I would like to enter into access instead and then print out similar to the excel with 8 answers across and 7 down.

Maybe the objective is clear now?

thanks if you have any ideas. i plan to use a combo box to pick each productID.

FYI - the report would be 8 across and 7 down. it would represent the customers shelf. My management wants to review each salesman's placement of our product on the grocer's shelf. we have a preferred method of arrangement.
