Hi all,

I had hoped to build a simple VB6 front to allow the user to pass parameters to a Crystal Report, facilitate exporting/email reports, alter the sort order etc. However, I am working with Crystal 2011 and have learned that the crviewer.dll was retired in Crystal XI. What can I use instead to allow a user to run reports?

Thanking you in advance,
Imelda.

From what I heard Crystal Reports 2011 has a SDK download for using .net.

The SDK provided by SAP is Crystal Reports for Visual Studio. It will not work with plain vb - it is a .NET tool set - and it requires Visual Studio 2010 or newer. You can download it from here: Use the most recent version of the "Install Executable" to get integration into Visual Studio which includes a report viewer component. The other downloads are for various types of runtime installs that you'll use when deploying your application.
