I am trying to create a form in MS Word '03 and in this form, I'd like to be able to input text in one form field, and have it duplicate on a second page in another form field. Does anyone know how this can be done? I would REALLY appreciate the help :)

Please do a search in the forum. There was a question similar to this one yesterday.

JLR4Life, please see thread707-1344823

"Duplicate" is a slippery word. When I see duplicate, it means make a copy of some[/b]thing[/b]. In this case, duplicate sort of means copy the formfield. But that is not what you mean, is it? You mean have the VALUE show up in another location.

You can make the VALUE be duplicated in another field, NOT a formfield, by:

1. go to the location you want the VALUE duplicated
2. press Ctl-f9
3. type the name of the formfield you want to get the value from.
4. move the cursor out of the field.

Done. If the source formfield is set for Calculate on exit, then as soon as the user exits the formfield, its value will be updated anywhere the other field is. You can do this as much as you like.

Or, you can explicitly set a REF field back to the original formfield.
