My boss wants me to have the option of driving my "add client" form by my "sort query". Is there a way to do this without creating a totally new form (the new form- if necessary- would have to look exactly like the "add client"- which is moderately complex imo)?

If I had to, I guess I could create an identical form, this time driven by the particular query. If I did this, and just made a copy of the "add client" form, could I just change the control sources to reference the query?

Sorry for the n00b questions here, I'm doing my best with a summer internship- having no previous knowledge of Access up until a couple months ago now. =/

Consider filtering your form - there's lots on Filter in Access help.

Also look at DoCmd.OpenForm in VBA for opening your form - this lets you specify a WHERE parameter, enabling you to open the form and restrict the ercords shown to those matching your filter.
