Hi,

I've designed my form to X/HTML 1.1 and so the 'name' attribute of a tag is deprecated and only 'id' is used.

But my PERL CGI program doesn't seem to be able to gather the form data for processing, any ideas how to get round this?

cheers,

I am unsure what you mean. Looking here it looks like XHTML1.1 supports name attribute on input, select, textarea and button. What other elements do you need to assign name to that are making your form processing fail?

ok my bad, it was erroring on the name tag for 'form' not the 'input' tag! - well it is monday!
