hi guys, i would like to have this style of form elements but the style only shows in Firefox and not in IE.

do you have any ideas how to do this(or any similar effect) so that form elements styling is shown also in IE? (and not only in Firefox.)

thanks for any ideas.

Appears to work in IE7 and FF, but not in IE6 - which is what the author claims!

sorry guys, i was not very specific.

yes, it's not working in IE6.

quite a good number of our visitors are still using IE6.

any ideas how to somehow implement same effect/styling in IE?

thanks

I do not have a box with IE6 on it here. Which part is failing?
I seem to remember having this problem with earlier versions. Try colouring the select options with an inline statement rather than from an id, that may have been the cure.

Looking at the link, it would probably be possible to make it work in IE6. The question is, do you want to spend a lot of time re-working the code to make it work in IE6 ( especially if the designer of this form hasn't thought about supporting IE6. Maybe you could load a special cancelling stylesheet for IE6, to remove all the fancy formatting.
