Hi all.
On a SX2000, I've typed in FORM TEL on the maintenance terminal and this has stopped me from being able to access any of my customer data forms, saying the form is locked by SYSTEM.
Assuming the form is locked because the system has accessed it and is trying to print, what's the command to clear the job out? I've tried CANCEL PRINT, but this hasn't worked.
Ta,

Are you using PMS? It uses the same processor. If it is busy, then you will see those messages. Just wait a bit before trying again or turn off the PMS dataset. It should buffer!

Sorry, not sure what PMS is, technically anyway :)
The system's been locked for about 3 hours, so it looks like it's only going to clear during the ack switch tonight.

PMS is property Management System. Mainly used for hotels. Are you outputting SMDR for Call records? I am not sure but it may also use the same processor. Did you log in with "SYSTEM"? this happens to me all the time. Sometimes I just keep entering the command untill it goes. Sounds like you are just doing the command at the wrong time so to speak!

Ah - definately no PMS then.
We are outputting SMDR, to a call logger.

I think it's something to do with me not telling the system where to send the output. I literally typed "FORM TEL", without specifying anywhere for the output.

in the maintenance screen you can type cancel print all or show print all to see if you have any queues

also if your SX2000 is a redundant and you have logged into the inactive plane then you will not beable to gain access

Another useful command when you cannot access CDE is "DBMS CLI"

It will tell you if the database is in use and by what process.
If it answers "there are no clients" then there is no active process accessing your database and you should be able to gain access, provided you're logged into the active plane.

Thanks for your help chaps.
The problem was cleared by typing EN P /N
