Okay - I know I've done something stupid, I just can't figure out what...

My Main form (DB Attached) has a couple of buttons on it to edit either the schools or view the scores results. When I press the "Edit Schools" button, and then return to the form Main, all seems well. If I close and reopen Main, my first Gymnast has "jumped ship" to a new school. I know Access forms have some quirks, but I really think this one is on me somehow.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You are using the school combo for navigation.
1) It cannot be bound to a control source. Remove the control source.
2) Remove the forms recordsource. The main form should be unbounded
3) Rename your school combo to "cmboSchools"
4) Now link the subform to the main form as follows
linkMasterFields: [cbmoSchools]
linkchildFields: remains the same

The issue was the form was bound and the control sources of the combo was bound. When you were trying to navigate you were changing the value.

Thanks MajP - I knew it was something I was doing...
