I created a form using the wizard in Access 2003 and I wanted to use it for viewing purposes only, but for some reason I get: The changes you requested to the table were not successful because they would create duplicate values in the index, primary key, or relationship. Change the data in the field or fields that contain duplicate data, remove the index, or redefine the index to permit duplicate entries and try again. I've removed all PK and changed the indexes to Yes-Duplicates and then to No on all fields but nothing seems to work. It seems like Access thinks I am trying to add or edit a table through the form, so then I created Queries and linked the form to the queries and I still recieved: The changes you requested to the table were not successful because they would create duplicate values in the index, primary key, or relationship. Change the data in the field or fields that contain duplicate data, remove the index, or redefine the index to permit duplicate entries and try again. I then linked the forms again to the tables directly and used the Queries Expression Builder and still I can't seem to be able to use the Form to only pull up information from the tables for viewing purpose only. How can I make it so that the Form acts like an application where if the user enters in 2 areas in the form the rest of the areas populate themselves with the info from the tables?

It seems to me that the user is entering information into bound fields. I think that what you want to do is to create a form based on the table and then use a wizard to add a combobox that finds a record on the form.

Any control used as a navigation tool shouldn't be bound to the underlaying table/query.

Hope This Helps, PH.
