form and report caching

Periodically I have a problem with 6i forms and reports running through 9ias. The applcation server seems to somehow cache the forms/reports. For example, today I made changes to a form, copied the form to the server, but when I go to any browser and retrieve the form, the old version is still being displayed. I stopped and started the form service on the app server but it did not help. Ive had this happen before and the only solution seems to be to reboot the server. This hasnt been much of a problem in the past, but we are about to go live with a critical, high use application and I cant keep rebooting the server if there's another way.

I'm not a IAS expert, but your problem should be a "webcache" problem. Take a look at the webcache.
